An excellent, self-guided interactive experience w/ audio guides. I don't know if Portugal has much claim to extensive beer making innovations, eg, Mesopotamia, Egypt, and Germany, but the overall experience was fun — mostly because of the numerous, centuries-old props used throughout the museum. For example, the book shown below was printed in 1741. Having overheard an employee's conversation with another museum goer, I have a feeling the museum was created in response to COVID era limitations (no further info), so the upfront investment, although impressive, was more aimed at bringing paying museum customers through safely than telling every minute detail in the 6,000+ year old story of beer making. Most definitely T-shirt worthy. (Worth the €10 entry price. A free beer is included in the entry price.)

Stopped in for a beer after a long day of sightseeing. Very nice wait staff, great vibe inside and outside of the restaurant. Nice little sardine gift shop inside. Bought a few cans to go for gifts back home.
